And Dawn Dawns with Your Hands

Ahmad Chamlou, l’un des plus grands poètes iraniens du XXe siècle, achève ainsi le poème qu’il dédie à Aïda : « Et l’aube se réveille avec tes mains ». Son poème Aïda dans le miroir1 fait écho au poème Les yeux d’Elsa et Chamlou entre ainsi en résonance avec Aragon, qu’il admire. Ce jeu de résonance entre les œuvres et entre les artistes est au cœur du processus créatif mis en œuvre par Orphos avec Maryam Imani.

Ce processus ne serait rien s’il n’y était question de l’amour, si la femme n’en animait le mouvement et si, par elle, l’aube ne venait éclairer la noirceur du monde.

Cette série est un hommage et plus encore : Orphos y célèbre la lumière qui advient autant que les êtres qui la font advenir. En laissant à la lumière et aux artistes leur part de mystère, amoureusement.

Ahmad Chamlou, one of the greatest Iranian poets of the twentieth century, ended the poem he dedicated to Aïda with these words: "And the dawn wakes with your hands". His poem Aïda dans le miroir1 echoes the poem Les yeux d'Elsa, and Chamlou thus resonates with Aragon, whom he admires. This play of resonance between works and between artists is at the heart of the creative process that Orphos has set in motion with Maryam Imani.

This process would be nothing if it weren't for love, if it weren't for the movement of women, and if it weren't for the dawn illuminating the darkness of the world.
